I am Jean-Luc. I have lived in Cambridge for over 27 years and most of what I photograph here is personal: a couple a week after they got engaged on King’s Parade, a 50th birthday in a Mill Road back garden, grandparents meeting a baby for the first time, a graduate who wants a quiet half-hour at Senate House before the family arrives. I work gently, I do not rush, and I edit with a light touch. The result is calm, true to you, and easy to print.
Couples {#couples}
Couples sessions are my favourite to photograph. They might be an engagement after a proposal at The Backs, an anniversary an hour before dinner at the Tamburlaine, a “just because” hour at Granta riverside, or a quiet pre-wedding session a month before the day.
We walk, we talk, I photograph as we go and direct lightly when it helps. £160 for the first hour, £100 each additional.

Portraits {#portraits}
Portraits for LinkedIn that look like you on a good day. Profile photos for dating that are honest and warm. Personal branding sets for coaches, consultants and founders.
Press portraits, author photos, and creative sittings for actors and musicians. We shoot at your home, in your garden, in a Cambridge spot you love, or in a quiet studio setup.

Parties {#parties}
I photograph birthdays, milestone parties, anniversaries, retirement do’s and family celebrations across Cambridge and the villages. The aim is to come home with a gallery that feels like the evening, not a stack of posed lineups.

Families {#families}
Family sessions, kept simple. Grandparents and grandchildren, a new baby, a quiet hour together before life changes.
We meet at home, on Jesus Green, or somewhere that means something to you.

Gift vouchers {#vouchers}
Gift vouchers are a good present for someone who is hard to buy for. 60 minutes is £160, 90 minutes is £210. Valid for 12 months, redeemable across portraits, couples, family and graduation sessions. Posted as a printed card or sent as a PDF. Buy and personalise on gift vouchers.
Where we shoot
Cambridge gives us a lot to work with. The Backs in late afternoon, the Bridge of Sighs from the Granta riverside, the meadows at Jesus Green, the open sky and woods at Wandlebury, the Mill Pond at golden hour, Senate House and King’s Parade for graduations, and Madingley Hall when you want something quieter. We also photograph at home, which is often the best choice for families with small children, for older relatives, and for anyone who would rather be in their own kitchen than in front of strangers.
