We’re a small, experienced photography company based in Cambridge. We photograph weddings, nikahs, graduations, portraits, couples, families and events — and we’ve been doing it across Cambridge and Cambridgeshire for over 27 years. Our approach is calm, practical and built around making people feel comfortable in front of the camera.
Real moments, not a performance.
Every photographer says they’re “natural” and “relaxed” — so here’s what we actually mean by it.
We don’t ask you to do anything you’d feel silly doing. No jumping in the air. No looking wistfully into the middle distance while holding hands at arm’s length. Instead, we guide the bits that matter — posture, hands, spacing, where the light falls — and then let you talk, laugh and interact normally. That’s where the best frames come from.
We shoot in a documentary style with gentle direction layered in where it helps. The result is a set of images that look polished without feeling staged — the kind of photos where you look like yourself, just on a really good day.
Cambridge is our patch
We’ve photographed across every Cambridge University college, most of the county’s wedding venues, the Cambridge Mosque, the Register Office in Ascham Road, and more parks, gardens and riverside spots than we can count. That local knowledge matters because it means:
We know which college courtyards catch the best afternoon light. We know the quieter routes through town when the Backs are heaving with tourists. We know the timing quirks at the Senate House on graduation day. We know where to park, where to get rained on (and where not to), and which venues have awkward lighting that needs managing.
That kind of experience doesn’t make for dramatic marketing copy, but it makes for a much smoother shoot on the day.
Simple, transparent, no surprises
Planning: We’ll ask a few questions, suggest a sensible plan (locations, timing, duration), and agree everything upfront — including the price.
On the day: We arrive early, work calmly, and keep direction gentle. For weddings and events, we blend in. For portraits and couples sessions, we guide you through it step by step so you never feel lost.
Delivery: You’ll typically receive a preview within 24 hours and your full edited gallery within 3–5 days (weddings are a little longer). High-resolution downloads, web-ready versions, and a private online gallery you can share with family and friends.
Pricing: Straightforward hourly rates with no hidden fees. Longer bookings get a reduced rate. We’ll always recommend the shortest option that still covers your day properly — we’d rather you book what you need than oversell you hours you won’t use.
